Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 27, 2026

SWITCH Maritime LLC (“SWITCH Maritime,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit or interact with our website, switchmaritime.com (the “Site”), including when you contact us or sign up to receive communications from us.

This Privacy Policy is intended to provide clear notice about our website privacy practices. It should be read together with any additional notices, terms, or consent forms that may be provided in specific contexts.

1. Who We Are

The Site is operated by SWITCH Maritime, 1 Ferry Building, Suite 201, San Francisco, California 94111, United States. You may contact us about privacy matters at info@switchmaritime.com.

For purposes of applicable data protection laws, SWITCH Maritime is generally the controller or business responsible for personal information collected through the Site. We do not process personal information through the Site on behalf of third parties except in limited circumstances expressly described at the time of collection or in a separate agreement.

 2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the Site, online forms, newsletter signups, and related website communications.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected offline, through separate written agreements, through employment or contractor relationships, through vessel operations, through investor-specific portals or data rooms, or through third-party websites and services that we do not control. If another privacy notice is provided for a specific interaction, that notice will govern that interaction to the extent it differs from this Privacy Policy.

3. Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you choose to provide to us and certain information that is collected automatically when you use the Site.

a. Information You Provide to Us

When you submit a form, contact us, or sign up for communications, we may collect your first name, last name, email address, and any other information you choose to include in communications with us. For example, we may collect this information when you use a contact form, request information, sign up for a newsletter, or otherwise correspond with us.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the Site unless we specifically request it.

b. Information Collected Automatically

Because the Site is hosted by Squarespace, certain technical and usage information may be collected automatically when you visit the Site. This may include IP address, browser type and settings, device information, operating system information, pages viewed, referring URLs, dates and times of visits, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers or similar online identifiers, and information about how visitors interact with the Site.

Squarespace may process this information to provide, secure, operate, analyze, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and related hosting services.

4. Squarespace Hosting and Website Services

Our Site is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace may process personal information and technical information on our behalf to provide hosting, website functionality, security, analytics, debugging, maintenance, and related services. This may include information such as IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referring URLs, cookie identifiers, and interactions with the Site.

Squarespace may also process certain information where permitted by its own terms and privacy practices, such as for service security, fraud prevention, billing, compliance, analytics, and improvement of its services. In those circumstances, Squarespace acts as an independent controller of that information. SWITCH Maritime is not responsible for Squarespace’s independent processing activities, and we encourage you to review Squarespace’s privacy and cookie disclosures for additional information about how Squarespace processes information in connection with its services.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files placed on your browser or device that help websites operate, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and improve user experience.

The Site may use necessary cookies that help the Site function properly and securely, analytics or performance cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site, and functional cookies that support website features or preferences. Squarespace may use cookies and similar technologies as part of providing and operating the Site. If we add third-party tools in the future, such as advertising pixels, embedded media, maps, video players, customer relationship management tools, or additional analytics tools, those tools may also use cookies or similar technologies.

Depending on your location, we may request your consent before placing non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You may manage cookies through your browser settings or, where available, through the cookie banner or preference tool on the Site. Disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions.

Some browsers or extensions may transmit “Do Not Track” or similar signals. Because there is no uniform industry standard for responding to these signals, the Site may not respond to all such signals. To the extent required by applicable law, we will honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, if our practices involve activities subject to such opt-out rights.

6. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; respond to inquiries and communications; send newsletters, updates, or other communications you request or consent to receive; manage relationships with visitors, partners, vendors, investors, media contacts, and other stakeholders; understand Site traffic, performance, and usage; improve our content, communications, and services; protect the Site, our business, our systems, and our users; detect, prevent, investigate, or address fraud, security issues, misuse, or technical problems; comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and compliance obligations; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; enforce our rights and agreements; and carry out any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information as defined under applicable law.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing, we process personal information based on one or more legal bases. These may include your consent, such as when you sign up to receive newsletters or other optional communications; our legitimate interests, such as operating and improving the Site, responding to inquiries, conducting ordinary business communications, protecting security, and managing business relationships; contractual necessity, where processing is necessary to take steps at your request or manage a business relationship; and legal obligations, where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

8. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and processors, including Squarespace, which hosts and helps operate the Site; technology and infrastructure providers that support website functionality, security, email delivery, analytics, troubleshooting, or business operations; professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, consultants, insurers, and auditors; government, regulatory, or law enforcement authorities where required or appropriate under applicable law; parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, diligence process, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction; and other parties with your consent or at your direction.

We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising based on our current data practices.

9. Newsletter and Marketing Communications

If you sign up to receive newsletters or other communications from us, we may use your name and email address to send those communications.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, where available, or by contacting us at info@switchmaritime.com. We may still send non-marketing communications where appropriate, such as responses to inquiries or administrative messages.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to inquiries, maintain business records, manage communications, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect security, and enforce agreements.

Newsletter or marketing-contact information is generally retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Contact-form submissions and correspondence may be retained for ongoing business, legal, compliance, and recordkeeping purposes unless deletion is requested and we are legally able to delete the information. Technical, analytics, and hosting-related data may be retained according to Squarespace’s practices and settings.

We may retain certain information where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, business-continuity, or compliance purposes.

If you access the Site from outside the United States or submit information through the Site, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.

These jurisdictions may have privacy and data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, which may include standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. The Site is hosted by Squarespace, which provides hosting, security, and infrastructure services for the Site. However, no website, transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
